I am thrilled you have decided to join us. This website was born from my desire to share valuable and credible information in a place of acceptance, a place of belonging. A place where you are destined to be. As a mom of two sons and someone who embraces lifelong learning, I never anticipated sharing a personal journey through a health crisis that ultimately transformed my life positively.
As a massive heart attack survivor, you must understand the gravity of heart disease. In 2022, heart disease claimed the lives of 702,880 individuals, accounting for 1 in every 5 deaths. Astonishingly, cardiovascular disease causes one death every 33 seconds. I stand strong with you.
This might not be a comfortable conversation for some, but this is one conversation I am bringing to the table unapologetically. You must understand that your heart health is serious business. If my directness seems too much, remember, it is because what happened to me could have happened to anyone that is reading. It's time to be the CEO over your heart health.
